Question 855920: I don't know why I keep getting this problem wrong. I got the answer of R>-5 with all open circle pointing left. Here is the question, solve the inequality and graph the solution for -3r >15. I divided the bottoms by -3 and got -5.

When you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative number, the inequality sign will flip.

So you will go from to after you divide both sides by -3. Notice how the > changes to <

So the answer is . This means you'll have an open circle at -5 and shading to the left.
