He has already completed 6%2F27(or2%2F9).
27%2F27(the complete job) - 6%2F27(what he's done so far) leaves 21%2F27 or 7%2F9. 3 days per 2%2F9 means that it will take him 3.5 times that to finish.
3.5 * 3 = 10.5 more days
