2x + 220 = 810
2x = 590
x = 295 votes for loser
x + 220 = 295 + 220 = 515 votes for winner
let x = width of rectangle
2x + 2 = length of rectangle
x + 2x + 2 + x + 2x + 2 = 34
6x + 4 = 34
6x = 30
x = 5
width = 5 ft.
2x + 2 = 2(5) + 2 = 12
length = 12 ft.
