You can put this solution on YOUR website! Draw a right angle triangle ABC.
Angle B=90*
angle A=45*
Angle C = 180 - (90+ 45)
angle C = 45*
since angle A=angle C= 45*
therefore triangle ABC is a isocesles triangle,
let hypotenuse BC=12 cm
let other two sides be equal:AB=AC=x
by using pythagoras theorem,
BC^2 = AB^2 + AC^2
12^2 = x^2 + x^2
144 = 2 x^2
x^2 =144/2
x^2 = 72
take a square root of 72. Then u wil get the vale of x=8.5 cm
