You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Set what's inside the || = to 0. Solve for x.

2x-4 = 0

2x = 4

x = 2

Substitute that x value back into the original equation. Solve for y.

y =|2(2)-4|

y = |4-4| = |0| = 0

The vertex is (2,0)
