Question 853906: Solve the system by graphing the equations on a graphing calculator, (not the issue), and estimating the point of intersection (this is the issue). I don't know how or what to enter into the calculator to estimate point of intersection. Or even how to figure it out by hand. Are you able to help?
The equations that I have are:
y=0.7x+6
y=0.695x+5
It says that the calculator window is -10,10,1 by -10,10,1. The answer that they get is (-200,-134). I have no clue how they get this answer because the graph to me looks like it is parallel.
Thanks in advance for the help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You should expect to find the intersection point somewhere FAR to the left of the y axis. If the x region of -10 to 10 does not show an intersection point, then this is the wrong region into which to view. You may start at the window values you were told to use, but try zooming OUT a few times until you see an intersection point.
