Question 853803: Hello..
I need help with the following question to see if I have done it correctly.
The question is as follows:
"Simplify the following:
3^-2 (x-1)^4 (xy^2)^3 z^5 / (9x^6)^2 y^4 (x-1)^-2 z^-1"
the / is obviously "divided by"..
My answer is written this way:
3^-2 (x-1)^4 (xy^2)^3 z^5 / (9x^6)^2 y^4 (x-1)^-2 z^-1
= 3^-2 (x-1)^4 x^3 y^6 z^5 9^-2 x^-12 y^14 (x-1)^2 z^1
= 1/9 (x-1)^2 x^-9 y^2 z^4 1/81
That is my final answer. I don't know how to attach images otherwise I would do that to make reading the question and answer properly...
Can someone please let me know if I have done it correctly and if I haven't, can you please show me how to do it?
Thank-you very much,
zeedee
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Looks like you've lost a couple of terms and you could simplify further by multiplying your constants.
Let's simplify first then divide.
Putting it together,
