Hi,
The slope of a line is 2 and the point (5, 8) is on the line
***Using point-slope form, y+-+y%5B1%5D+=+m%28x+-+x%5B1%5D%29
y-8 =2(x-5)
y = 2x -10 + 8
y = 2x - 2
