Draw the figure and label the parts.
Since angle A = angle B = 70, angle C = 40 degrees

So AB = 5 cm, and AB is opposite C.

Draw a perpendicular bisector from C to AB.
That creates 2 right triangles.

Base of the right triangle is (1/2)5 = 2.5 cm
The base angle is 70 degrees.
The height of the perpendicular bisector is 2.5*tan(70) = 6.87
------
The hypotenuse = 6.87/sin(70) = 7.31 cm = AC
