Question 852043: the area of a parallelogram is 288cmsq.if its altitude is twice the corrosponding base, determine the base and the altitude. Answer by Seutip(231) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! A= base*altitude
Let
x -be the base
2x -be the altitude
Then divide both sides by 2 find the square root
The base is 12 cm and the altitude is 24 cm, hope that helps! :)
