You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A= base*altitude
Let
x -be the base
2x -be the altitude
288cm%5E2=%28x%29%282x%29
288cm%5E2=%282x%5E2%29 Then divide both sides by 2
%28144cm%5E2%29=%28x%5E2%29 find the square root
sqrt%28144cm%5E2%29=sqrt%28x%5E2%29
x=12cm
The base is 12 cm and the altitude is 24 cm, hope that helps! :)
