Hi,

1/x^2+3x+2 + x/x+2 = 1/2

1%2F%28x%2B2%29%28x%2B1%29+%2B+x%2F%28x%2B2%29+=+1%2F2   |Multiplying thru by +highlight_green%282%28x%2B1%29%28x%2B2%29%29 so as all denominators = 1

 2 + 2x(x+1) = (x+1)(x+2)

 2 + 2x^2+ 2x = x^2 + 3x + 2

     x^2 - x = 0

    x(x-1) = 0,  x = 0   0r  x = -1
