Hi,
ratio of turtles to fish in a pond is 2 to 5
a) a total of 20 fish does not satisfy the proportionality
b)6 turtles (constant of proportionality is 3) ⇒ 6 + 5*3 = 21 fish
m&ms (ratio of red to green is 3:5)
3x + 5x = 20, 8x = 20, x = 20/8...does not work
35 green ( constant of proportionality is 7)
3*7 + 35 = 56 m&ms
