log%286%2Cx%29+%2B+log%286%2C%28x%2B9%29%29+=+2

log%286%2C+x%28x%2B9%29%29+=+2

  6^2 = x(x+9)

  x^2 + 9x - 36 = 0

 (x+12)(x-3) = 0,  x = 3  

Note x = -12 is extraneous
