You can put this solution on YOUR website!
H T U
H+T+U=10
U=7H
T=3H-1
H+3H-1+7H=10
11H=10+1
11H-11
H=11/11=1 ANS. FOR THE HUNDREDS DIGIT.
PROOF
U=7*1=7
T=3*1-1=3-1=2 ANS FOR THE TENS DIGIT
1+2+7=10
10=10

Lets assume that,
x - be the hundreds digit
3x-1 - be the tens digit
7x - be the ones digit
Therefore the number is,
x%2B3x-1%2B7x+=+10 You get it? The sum of the 3 digits is 10, find x.
11x=11 Therefore
x=1

100%28x%29+%2B+10+%283x-1%29+%2B+1+%287x%29
This is the 3-digit number, hope you get it. We multiply it by 100 for the hundredth digit, ten by tens digit and 1 by ones digit. :) Substitute x now.
%28100%29%281%29%2B10%283%281%29-1%29+%2B+%281%29%287%281%29%29
100%2B20%2B7
So the number is 127, check the description.
Unit digit (7) is 7 times the hundred digit (1)
Tens Digit (2) is 1 less than 3 times the hundred digits (1)
Hope that helps! <3

The sum of a three digit number is 10. The units digit is seven times larger than the hundreds digit and the tens is one less than three times the hundreds. What is the number?

Let hundreds digit be H
Then units digit is 7H, and tens digit is 3H – 1
Therefore, H + 7H + 3H – 1 = 10
11H = 11
H, or hundreds digit: 11%2F1, or 1
Tens digit: 3(1) – 1, or 3 – 1, or 2
Units digit: 7(1), or 7
Three-digit number: highlight_green%28127%29
You can do the check!!
