You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do you solve this problem?
x-2/2-x+2/4=1/2
----------------
(x-2)/2 - (x+2)/4 = 1/2
Multiply thru by 4 to get rid of the denominators:
2(x-2) - (x+4) = 2
Simplify:
2x-4-x-4 = 2
x-8 = 2
x=10
