I will assume that this is supposed to say 10 feet. If not, follow the same steps appropriately.
We want to set up a proportion
6-foot/8 lbs = 10-feet/x lbs
Cross multiply
6*x = 8*10
x = 80/6 = 13.3333 lbs.
