Question 847659: I have no idea where to even start on this question, I feel that it is illogical, but perhaps it is?
Benny Hill, once said that "There is a 1 in a million change of there being a bomb on a plane. There was a 1 in a trillion chance of there being 2 bombs on a plane. So cut the odds, and take a bomb." Is this a valid line of logic. I am trying to see how the multiplication rule of probabilities could work here.
Thank you!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Each occurence of the bomb is independent.
P%28bomb%29=1%2F1000000
P%282bombs%29=%281%2F1000000%29%281%2F1000000%29=1%2F1000000000000
