Question 847554: Marsha has money in two savings accounts. one rate is 8% and the other 10%
if she has 200 dollars more in the 10% account how much is invested
at 8% if the total interest is 101 dollars?
I thought it would be:
y=x+200
.10y-.08x=101
but when I tried to solve it my answers were y=4250
x=4050 and I know that is not the answer.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=450., y=650.
y=x+200,
add not subtract below
.10y+.08x=101
.10*650=65
.08*450=36
