You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
"One number is 3 less than 2 times the other number"
Let our first number be x and let the other number be 2x-3.
Then x + 2x-3 = 126
3x - 3 = 126
3x = 129
x = 43
43 + ? = 129
So our other number is 83
