You can put this solution on YOUR website! This is a problem of 2 equations and 2 unknowns. As long as you can develop as many equations as you have unknowns, you can solve it!

Let x and y be two consecutive integers. From the information given, you can write this equation:
Equation#1: 3y/4-x/2=3
Also, since you know the 2 integers are consecutive, you can write this equation:
Equation #2: y-x=1
