a. How long will it take 8 men, working at the same rate to complete the same job?
b. If 2 of the 8 men leave the job after working for 1 hour, how long will it take the remaining 6 men working at the same rate to complete the job

You can put this solution on YOUR website! For part a, should we assume it is each man works at the same rate as in the previous description? Or does the question mean that the group of 8 men work at the same rate as the group of the 14 men? If the groups work at the same rate, then the group of 8 men would also need 6 hours 40 minutes to complete a job.
That makes question part b unclear. Taking the question part b exactly as it is stated, no assumptions, the 8 men would complete 1 job in 6 hours 40 minutes, which is  hours. (SAME RATE AS THE DESCRIBED 14-MAN GROUP!). The one-man rate for this is  jobs per hour.
As a uniform rates task completion situation, R*T=J, rate, time, job amount. One hour at one rate, an unknown time at another rate. Eight men work for 1 hour, and then 6 men work for some time t, and this completes the one job:

You may want to interpret differently about the one-man rate. You might want to find the one-man rate based on the group of the 14 men as described first in the problem description. You might really want the one man rate to be taken as  jobs per hour
