Question 84595: Hello,
I am having some difficulties figuring out exactly what I need to do with this problem
Simplify the complex fraction.
p^-1 +pq^-2
Here is what I have been able to do
p^-1 +pq^-2 / 1
I am unsure if I need to multiply by "P" or by "PQ^-2"
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify:
p%5E%28-1%29%2B+pq%5E-2 Rewrite with positive exponents.
1%2Fp+%2B+p%2Fq%5E2 Add the fractions. The LCD ispq%5E2
q%5E2%2Fpq%5E2+%2B+p%5E2%2Fpq%5E2 Simplify.
