My teacher wrote her own series of homework problems with the only instructions being "use the One-to-One Property." I tried to find an answer by manipulating the equations (isolating the term being raised to the 'x' power on one side of the equal sign), but I have not been able to find a common base to finish solving the problems.
I simplified the problem to
I then proceeded to solve it as follows, but this method did not seem to be One-to-One:
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Your work is good, because it makes sense. What is the "one-to-one" property that you are supposed to use? The steps you used to solve for x are already correct.
