Hi,

length is 7 feet more than twice the width+highlight_green%28x%29.
P = 2%2Al+%2B+2%2Aw+=+16ft
0r l + w = 8ft
(2x+7ft) + x = 8ft
3x = 1 ft
x = 1/3 ft, the width, the length is 7 2/3 ft
A = %281%2F3%29%2823%2F3%29 = 23/9 ft^2 0r 2 59 ft^2
