Question 844560: If you have a deck of 52 cards and draw a 9, with out putting the first card drawn back, what is the probability that both cards will be 9s? Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The 1st one is a 9.
Then you ask about "both cards" but you have just 1 card. Do you plan to draw another card? If so, you should say that.
----------------
That leaves 3 9's in 51 cards = 3/51 = 1/17.
--> 1/17 of getting a 2nd 9.
