1st: Interchange x and y to get:
----
x = 2csc(3y+8)
----
2nd: Solve for "y":
csc(3y+8) = x/2
----------
3y+8 = arccsc(x/2)
----
y = (arccsc(x/2))/3 - 8
----
That is the inverse.
