You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a = 27 , c = 45 , b = length of unknown side
It looks like you are showing
c^2 - a^2 = b^2
2025 - 729 = b^2
1296 = b^2
The last step is to take the square root of each side
sqrt%281296%29+=+b+
b = 36cm

Hi,
c^2- a^2 = b^2
2025 - 729 = 1296 Good work
b^2 = 1296
b = sqrt%281296%29+=+36cm (Using only the positive solution for unit measure)
