3km is equivalent to 3000m. (1000 x 3)
2hrs is equivalent to 120 minutes. (60 x 2)
120 minutes = 7200 (120 x 60)
Therefore; since we want m/s
3000m/7200s = 0.4167m/s (Using a calculator)
