Use the same properties as you know for an equation, except that if or when you multiply by a negative number, the direction of the inequality changes.

4-3%2B3x%3C=3
1%2B3x%3C=3
3x%3C=2
highlight%28x%3C=2%2F3%29----- no multiplications or division by negative number.
