You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a model car travelled 15 meters in 5 seconds, how fast was it travelling?
-----------
Ans:: (15/5) = 3 meters/sec *(1 km/1000 meters)(3600 sec/1 hr)
------
= (3*1*3600)/(1*1000*1) km/hr
------
= 3*36 km/hr
------
= 108 km/hr
---------------------

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5 --> 15
1 --> ?
cross multiply to get
(1 * 15)/5 = 15/5 = 3 m/s
the question is essentially asking how much distance is covered in every second by the car.
