B; The card is the ace of spades.
Ans: mutually exclusive because ace of spades cannot be red
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) = 26/52 + 1/52 = 26/52

2. A;The card is a 2 or 3
B;The card is not a heart.
Ans: inclusive 2 or 3 might not be a heart
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B) = 8/52+26/52-4/52 = 30/52

3. A; The card is a diamond
B; the card is a spade.
Ans: mutually exclusive because a diamond cannot be a spade.
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) = 13/52 + 13/52 = 26/52
