let 60mph=s1 and 50mph=s2
hence 60mph= distance/t1 and 50mph= distance/t2
distance= t1 x 60mph ------(i)
distance= t2 x 50mph ------(ii)
t1 x 60mph = t2 x 50mph
but t1 = t2-1
(t2 - 1) x 60mph = t2 x 50mph
60mpht2 - 60mph = 50mpht2
60mpht2-50mpht2 = 60mph
t2= 6hrs
from distance = t2 x 50mph
distance = 300 miles
