Question 839581: Grass in lawn grows equally thick and in a uniform rate. It takes 40 days for 40
cows and 60 days for 30 cows to eat the whole of the grass. How many days does it
take for 20 cows to do the same? Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 40*40 cow days 1600 cow days
60*30 cow days 1800 cow days
They are not consistent grass eaters. This problem can't be solved.
1600/20=80 days
1800/20=90 days
Probably somewhere between 80 and 90 days.
