Let x represent How far from delhi the two trains will meet:

Note train comeing from amristar travels 531⁄3miles before the 4pm train starts from Dehli

 Time = time

 x/60mph = (396 2⁄3-x)/80mph 

 ||Multiplying thru by 240 so as all denominators = 1

 4x = 3(396 2⁄3  -x) 

      7x+=+3%281190%2F3%29

         7x = 1190

       x = 170mi from delhi the two trains will meet
