Question 838338: Explain whether each of the following is a valid probability distribution. If the probability distribution is valid, show why. Otherwise, show which condition of a probability distribution are not satisfied.
A. -1,.2;0,.6;1,.2
B. 1/2,-1; 3/4,0; 1,2
C. 2,.25;4,.35;6,.3
D. .1,2/7;.7,4/7;.9,1/7
I said that A,B,and D would be valid because the probability distribution for each of them adds up to 1, but I don't know if I am understanding the question correctly.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember the rules for probability distributions.
Individual values sum to 1.Knocks out C.
Each individual value must be greater than or equal to zero. That knocks out B.
A & D.
