Question 837973: Find the following for the function f(x)= (x+4)^2(x-1)^2
A. Find the x and y intercepts of the polynomial function f
B. Determine whether the graph of f crosses or touches the x-axis at each x-intercept.
C. Put all the information to obtain the graph of f.
I would like to know if the graph crosses or touches the smaller and/or the larger intercept of the x-axis.
My answer for this is the x-intercepts are (-4,0) and (1,0). The y-intercept is (0,16). Then x>-4, then I figured out that the smaller would be crosses the x-axis and the larger would touch the x-axis.
Please help.
