Question 83796: The length of a rectangle is 2cm more than twice its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 52 cm, what are the dimensions of the rectangle?
What is the mean of these numbers?
1,6,10,11,12
How does this set get graphed?
3(x-4)>7x-9
The sum of a number and -11 is 4. what is the number?
I would appreciate anybody who can help me out with these. Thank you in advance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The length of a rectangle is 2cm more than twice its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 52 cm, what are the dimensions of the rectangle?
Length = 2 + w
Width = w
Perimeter = 2Length + 2Width
52 = 2(2 + w) + 2(w)
52 = 4 + 2w + 2w
48 = 4w
12 = w
Length = 14cm
Width = 12cm
What is the mean of these numbers?
1,6,10,11,12
(1 + 6 + 10 + 11 + 12)/5 = (40)/5 = 8
How does this set get graphed?
3(x - 4) > 7x - 9
3x - 12 > 7x - 9
-3 > 4x
-3/4 > x
<===========(-3/4)--------(0)----------->
The sum of a number and -11 is 4. what is the number?
-11 + 4 = -7
