Question 837255: My daughter is twice as old as my son and half my age. In 22 years, my son will be half my age, how old is the daughter?
This doesn't make sense. In first part of question, daughter half the mum age. In the second part, the son half the age of the mum. how does this work?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! my daughter is twice as old as my son and half my age in 22 years my son qill be half my age hiw old is the daughter?? this doesnt make sense in first part of question daughter half the mum age, secind part the son half the age of the mum how does this work?
------
Equations:
d = 2s
m = 2d
s+22 = (1/2)(m+22)
------
Modify::
Since s = (1/2)d and d = (1/2)m, then s = (1/4)m
-----
Substitute for "s" and solve for "m":
(1/4)m + 22 = (1/2)m + 11
(1/4)m = 11
Mother's age = 44 yrs
Daughter = 22 yrs
Son = 11 years

You can put this solution on YOUR website! First, you didn't copy the problem completely and correctly. There would be no spelling errors and there would be correct punctuation if you had copied correctly.
d=2s,
d=m/2,
s+22=m/2
d = 44, m = 88, s = 22
d=s+22
d=2s,
2s=s+22
s=22
d=2s
d=44
44=m/2
m=88
