1 ft = 12 inches

So to convert from inches to feet, we divide by 12.

150/12 = 12 remainder 6

That means 150 inches = 12 feet 6 inches

Note: 6 inches is 0.5 or 1/2 a foot. So that explains why you got 12.5 ft
