Question 836627: I need help with the following proof and CANNOT use any givens like all the angles of triangle = 180 degrees or line segment (AC)squared + line segment (BC)squared = (AB)squared.
Given triangle ABC is a right triangle where angle C is the right angle,
Prove angle B is 2 times greater than angle A, then line segment AB = 2 times line segment BC.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Not being allowed to use basic facts like the ones you described above is pretty silly, IMO. Can you use law of sines? Or can you derive AC^2 + BC^2 = AB^2 first and then use that? A few different proofs I found use the fact that the sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 deg...
