and three times its, +3*.....

its complement increased by 2 degrees , (90-x)+2....

What you have for the left hand member is x%2B3%28%2890-x%29%2B2%29, but the description is still a bit ambiguous.

The finished equation, using "...is 92 degrees." becomes x%2B3%28%2890-x%29%2B2%29=92, and you can solve for x.
