cube root of 3 divided by fourth root of 2 is equal to 1.212782494.
you would simply use your calculator to solve this.
you can also solve it using logarithms if you have a log table but no calculator.
cube root of 3 is equal to 1.44224957
fourth root of 2 is equal to 1.189207115
1.44224957 / 1.189207115 is equal to 1.212989463.
the difference this last answer i gave you and the answer i gave you on top is due to rounding.
the internal storage capacity of the calculator is greater than the number of digits being displayed.
if your calculator is not able to do cube roots and fourth roots directly, then use the exponential form for them.
cube root of 3 is equal to 3 raised to the power of (1/3)
fourth root of 2 is equal to 2 raised to the power of (1/4)
in general, the nth root of x is equal to x raised to the power of (1/n).
