You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3x + 1 < 7 <= 2x + 9
subtract 1
3x < 6 <= 2x + 8
Two equations
3x < 6
x < 6/3
x < 2
and rewrite the 2nd one reversing the inequality sign
2x + 8 >= 6
2x >= 6 - 8
2x >= -2
x >= -1
