First, find a common denominator
2*3*5 = 30. We'll just use that for ease. It can always be reduced later.
5/2 = how many 30ths? Multiply by 15/15
5/2 = 75/30
8/3 = how many 30ths? Multiply by 10/10 (it's multiplying by 1)
8/3 = 80/30
12/5 = 72/30
So...
what you have is
75/30, 80/30, and 72/30
They're not equal.
