You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let A = (3,4) and B =(x,y), determine n(A x B)
recall that
AxB = {(a,b) | a Î A and b Î B };
so, AxB = {(3,x), (3,y),(4,x),(4,y)}
and
n(A x B)=4
or this way:
n(A x B) = n(A) x n(B)
In this case, n(A) = 2, n(B) = 2, n(A x B) = 2*2=4.
