Question 833520: 4X^2=7
Our teacher wants us to solve using the square root property
i did:
4X^2=7 --> did square root on each side to get: 4X= sqrt (7)
they have the answer in the book as sqrt (7) / 2 and - sqrt (7)/2
I just don't know how to get from step two to getting it over 2.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x^2=7
x^2=7/4
x=+-sqrt(7/4)
x=sqrt(7)/2
x=-sqrt(7)/2
