You can put this solution on YOUR website! A = (L * W) / 2(for a triangle instead of a rectangle)
We know that L = 3
We can find W by using a^2 + b^2 = c^2
3^2 + W^2 = 5^2
9 + W^2 = 25
Subtract 9 from each side
W^2 = 16
Square root
W = 4
Now we just multiply L * W
3 * 4 = 12
Half of that (for a triangle) is
6 <<--
