You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you want everything on one side
and put it in order x y constant
subtract y from both sides
y = 3/4x - 2
0=3/4x-y-2
3/4x-y-2=0

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y+=+expr%283%2F4%29x+-+2+

4y+=+3x+-+8+ Multiply EVERY term by the LCD 4 to clear out the fractions

4y+-+3x+=+-8+

-3x+%2B+4y+=+-8+

3x+-+4y+=+8+ Multiply EVERY term by -1 to make the x coefficient positive

3x+-+4y+-+8++=+0

Final Answer: 3x+-+4y+-+8++=+0

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what you want to do is move everything to one side.
y=+%283%2F4%29+x-2
y-+%283%2F4%29+x+=+%283%2F4%29+x+-+%283%2F4%29+x+-+2
