You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find the length of the unknown measurement
its a 45 45 90 triangle with 12 as the hypotenuse, I don't know how to find the other sides, due to the problem only giving me on side.
--------
hypotenuse = 12
each side = "x"
-----
Use Pythagoras to solve for "x":
x^2 + x^2 = 12^2
------
2x^2 = 144
x^2 = 72
x^2 = 36*2
----
x = 6sqrt(2) (each side is 6sqrt(2)

If it's a 45 45 90 triangle, it has some special formulas for sides
It is a right triangle but also isosceles triangle where you have two sides equal each other.
those two sides will be x, and then the hypotenuse will be sqrt%282%29x
Now you have the hypotenuse which means you have sqrt%282%29x = 12
x = 12%2F%28sqrt%282%29%29
x = 6sqrt%282%29

Your two other sides are 6sqrt%282%29 :D
