sqrt%28x%5E3%29+=+8 Square both sides
x%5E3+=+64 Take the cube root of both sides.
x+=+4

squaring both sides we get
x^3=8*8
x^3=64
x=cuberoot of 64
x=cuberoot(4*4*4)
x=4 answer.
